Founded in 2017, Feldman Bergin Properties (“FBP” or “the Company”) is a commercial and residential real estate investment and development company founded by Evan Feldman and Robert Bergin. Messrs. Feldman and Bergin have more than 30 years of combined institutional experience in the real estate industry specializing in multi-family and commercial asset development. From inception, the company’s overlapping acquisitions have created a broad expertise that spans geographic regions and asset classes. FBP’s successful implementation of their founding strategy based on creatively delivering superior, risk-adjusted returns on real estate has in short order fostered their growth to become a regional company with institutional level success.
WHO WE ARE
Robert Bergin – Co-Founder / Principal
Mr. Bergin focuses on implementing the company’s investment, acquisitions and capital market strategies and sits on FBP’s Investment Committee. He has over 15 years’ experience in commercial real estate. During that time he has been involved in 9 million square feet of real estate transactions totaling over $1.5 billion in value.
Previously, Mr. Bergin was Director of Investments and Asset Management for Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) (NYSE:OFC), an office real estate investment trust (REIT) that specializes in acquiring, developing, owning, leasing, and managing high quality office and data center properties. In this role, he was responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures as well as asset management duties for a 1.4 million square foot portfolio.
Mr. Bergin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Finance from Johns Hopkins University.
Evan C. Feldman – Co-Founder / Principal
Mr. Feldman focuses on implementing the Company’s investment, ground-up development and capital market strategies and is a principal member of FBP’s Investment Committee.
Over his 15 year career, Mr. Feldman has developed more than 1,200 hi-rise apartment units, 800,000 square feet of office and retail commercial space and has deployed over $450 million in capital. Prior to co-founding the company Mr. Feldman held leadership positions overseeing development opportunities and operations management for Archstone-Smith, Washington Property Company and Fore Property Company.
Mr. Feldman holds a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from American University and a Master of Science degree in Finance from Johns Hopkins University.
He is a member of the Multi-Family Housing Council and Urban Land Institute.
